Tofiga’s laziness pays off

After listening to the recording, Tofiga asks for confirmation from Paul that all the instructions were on the tape. After Paul specifically uses the phrase “It’s on the tape”, Tofiga opens the cassette player and uses the magnifying glass to reads the written instructions from the cassette.

Tofiga then covers the letter ‘I’ on the map with the old-fashioned telescope, crosses out the seven ‘C’s with a red pen, uses the quill to circle the ‘X’, and draws a hat on the letter ‘U’, before stating “I reckon that’s us, brother”.

In the studio, Jeremy says he believes Tofiga’s unwillingness to move unless necessary had helped in this task. After it is revealed that it took Tofiga 14 minutes to solve the task, Jeremy questions how on earth it took him that long, and Paul explains that Tofiga would routinely read the task brief and then spend 10 minutes relaxing before actually tackling it.

Tofiga wins the task and earns 5 points.
