Matthieu's horror movie
Matthieu is filmed standing in the red-lit lab, wearing disposable overalls, and heavy, smudged eye make-up, and eating an apple.
He then begins rocking from side-to-side, singing a nursery rhyme which occasionally devolves into nonsense sounds, while the camera zooms out to reveal the room around him, and footage of Antoine being bound and gagged with duct tape is cut in.
The (translated) lyrics to his song are as follows:
When I was but a little boy
(gibberish)
When I had but a little ball
I would throw it all...
(gibberish)
So pretty
(gibberish)
The kids...
(gibberish)
As the camera reveals the rocking chair behind Matthieu, Antoine appears on the chair, and Matthieu begins to lift up the knife he has been holding.
Additional footage of Antoine being suffocated behind the plastic sheeting of the lab also appears, before the lights come on in the room, and the song abruptly comes to an end, with Antoine ungagging himself and asking if it was what Matthieu had wanted.
In the studio, Mehdi hands over the therapists business card to Matthieu, who clearly needs it more.
Louis awards him last place for his disturbing creation.
