Mehdi's violent interpretation
Mehdi performs a short version of Cadet Rousselle, a popular song satirising a French bailiff.
He only sings the beginning lines...
Cadet Rousselle has three houses
Cadet Rousselle has three houses
They have not beams or rafters
They have not beams or rafters
...before pulling out a baseball bat and smashing up the three cardboard box houses on the ground in front of him, within one of which Antoine has been superimposed in miniature, playing a recorder.
As he smashes them up, he yells "Who the hell wants a house with no beams or rafters?! That's no way to live."
Louis remarks upon the violence in his video, and hands Mehdi a business card for a therapist.
Mehdi earns fourth place for his performance.
