Fernando retrieves the table tennis ball

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Fernando starts out the task by searching for something to stand on, as he’s too short to reach the top of the pipe. He begins by pouring liquid into the pipe, notices that the pipe is leaking, but continues to empty the bottle. It is only when he investigates the pipe’s leak that he realises that there are actually holes deliberately drilled into the pipe. After thinking about the task for a moment, Fernando sources a vacuum cleaner. He also tears up the task and, using his saliva as adhesive, plugs up the holes in the pipe. Fernando realises that the vacuum won’t work because the nozzle is angled; he quickly tears the nozzle from the vacuum hose and lowers the hose into the tube, successfully retrieving the ball. Fernando takes 9 minutes 55 seconds, and earns third place.
