- Inês pours half of a bottle of the provided liquid into the tube before she realises that the tube has holes in it. Inês wonders aloud how to get the table tennis ball out of the tube, before coming up with the idea that she’s meant to use a straw to suck the ball up the tube, using the holes in the tube to help position the straw. If she actually tries that idea, it is not shown. Inês finally realises that she just needs to cover up the holes, and uses her fingers to cover them up while pouring liquid into the tube. When the ball is halfway up the tube, she blocks it with a straw and shoves cloth into the bottom holes so she can use her fingers to plug the top holes, and finally successfully removes the table tennis ball by causing the pipe to overflow. Inês takes 12 minutes 45 seconds and earns last place.
- Jessica pours an entire bottle of the provided liquid into the tube before she realises that the tube has holes in it. Jessica goes to the kitchen to source some knives so she can cut the tube open at the bottom hole. However, the pipe is stronger than she’d estimated, and she isn’t able to cut into it. Jessica finally uses electrical tape to tape the holes up, and successfully removes the table tennis ball by causing the pipe to overflow. Jessica takes 8 minutes 50 seconds and wins the task.
- While trying to understand the task before him (namely, why an actual cocktail has been provided), Gilmário discovers the holes in the pipe. Gilmário briefly tries to suck the table tennis ball up the pipe by using a straw, before using plastic wrap to cover the entire pipe. Despite a bit of leaking from the plastic wrap, Gilmário successfully removes the table tennis ball by causing the pipe to overflow. Gilmário takes 9 minutes 53 seconds and earns second place.
- Toy starts by pouring liquid, but quickly discovers the holes in the pipe. He finds some latex gloves, and slides them onto the pipe, but they don’t do an effective enough job at holding the liquid in the pipe. His solution for this problem is to pour a lot more liquid into the pipe, more quickly. When this strategy fails, Toy uses electrical tape to tape the holes up, and successfully removes the table tennis ball by causing the pipe to overflow. Toy takes 12 minutes and earns fourth place.
- Fernando starts out the task by searching for something to stand on, as he’s too short to reach the top of the pipe. He begins by pouring liquid into the pipe, notices that the pipe is leaking, but continues to empty the bottle. It is only when he investigates the pipe’s leak that he realises that there are actually holes deliberately drilled into the pipe. After thinking about the task for a moment, Fernando sources a vacuum cleaner. He also tears up the task and, using his saliva as adhesive, plugs up the holes in the pipe. Fernando realises that the vacuum won’t work because the nozzle is angled; he quickly tears the nozzle from the vacuum hose and lowers the hose into the tube, successfully retrieving the ball. Fernando takes 9 minutes 55 seconds, and earns third place.
