Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- Aisling initially tried to block the holes with the task whilst pouring liquid into the pipe. She then turned the tray the pipe was connected to upside down so the ball would fall out. However, as she had moved the pipe, she was disqualified.
- Bob used ear plugs and tape to block the holes in the pipe before pouring any liquid in. He retrieved the table tennis ball in 8 minutes 13 seconds.
- Mark poured liquid into the pipe before eventually taping over the holes and pouring liquid into the pipe. He retrieved the table tennis ball in 23 minutes and 10 seconds.
- Nish tried blocking the pipe with the task before cling-filming the pipe and pouring liquid into it. He retrieved the ball in 44 minutes and 22 seconds.
- Sally continued to pour liquid into the pipe before using a vacuum cleaner to suck the ball out of the pipe. She retrieved the ball in just under 13 minutes.
