The task brief is received in the lab, where a table tennis ball has been dropped into a PVC pipe. The brief for the task is as follows:
Remove the ping pong ball from the pipe.
The pipe may not be moved.

Task notes
- The pipe is attached to the centre of a tray, and has had holes drilled into one side of it.
- Also on the table are a beaker and a conical flask containing coloured fluids.
- The beaker also contains bendy drinking straws and cocktail umbrellas.
