Fernando scores a basket

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Fernando begins by trying to kick the basketball into the hoop, and fails. Fernando finds a hat, uses it to collect the basketball, and attempts to throw the basketball into the hoop by flicking it out of the hat. He tries this same method with a Taskmaster spot, and nearly succeeds on his first shot. His subsequent shots using this method fail by increasing margins. Fernando finds a small boat, intending to use it to get closer to the net, before realising it still won’t solve his problem of getting the ball into the net. Finally, Fernando finds a net (in which he wraps the ball) and a long pool skimmer, and is able to lift the basketball into the hoop. Fernando takes 18 minutes 33 seconds and comes last.
