Linnéa berates David
Linnéa’s first attempt involves her activating each of the objects in order, from her left to her right. This nearly works for her, but one of the items stops before she can get to the candle. She decides to hold the monsters down with her fingers to keep them from popping up, but quickly realises that this prevents her using both of her thumbs, so she settles for just holding one. David apparently informs her (off-camera) that her attempt will not count if she is holding the monsters down herself, as she is not shown holding the monsters down on subsequent attempts. At the end of what Linnéa believes to be a successful attempt, David gleefully points out that she never started the marble running. Linnéa responds by telling David to tone down his happiness at her misfortune. The next footage of Linnéa is of her successfully completing the task after 10 minutes and 43 seconds, earning fourth place.
