Tuva’s “Project Ukulele”

Tuva intends to make a ukulele, and she calls the whole process “Project Ukulele”. As she shapes it out of several packages of marzipan, she admits that she intends to go for looks over functionality.

While sculpting, she correctly predicts that Tete will make a drum kit, and that Marte will make a small flute of some description.

After she’s happy with her ukulele shape, Tuva covers it in red icing, adds a few strands of uncooked spaghetti to represent strings, and tops it all off with sprinkles for good measure.

After reading the second task brief, Tuva briefly considers eating her ukulele, but is hesitant as it is made out of five packages of marzipan. Instead, Tuva runs her fingers over the spaghetti to ‘play’ her ukulele. Obviously, no musical notes emanate from her instrument, but they do at least make some sort of noise, as they are not fully attached to the marzipan and are able to vibrate against one other.

A disappointed Tuva leaves the lab, saying that her attempt “went to shit, as usual.”

Tuva earns joint last place.
