Tete’s potentially macabre needles
Tete says that he immediately knew what he wanted to bring, after learning of the theme for the prize task, but warns that some may consider his entry a bit dark.
Tete brings in two knitting needles. He claims that they can be used to end/finish many things – presumably hinting at their infamous use, along with coat hangers, in the termination of unwanted pregnancies – but he then suggests several innocuous examples such as knitting a sweater, or checking to see if something has been properly baked.
He then turns to Stian and demands to know if he has thought of something awful (holding and gesticulating with one of the needles like it is a blade, as he does so). Atle jokes that he’d thought of using one to check whether a wall socket was active.
Tete adds that, much like Christian’s prize, his knitting needles can be used as punctuation, and he then uses them as drumsticks, to perform the classic percussive sting/drum rimshot.
Atle awards Tete fourth place.
