The task brief is laid on the desk in the study, underneath a very small spinning top. The brief for the task is as follows:
Present the largest spinning top.
You have 30 minutes.
The top must spin for a minimum of five seconds to be approved.
[At the bottom, in very small print] You get five minutes deducted from your time for every penis joke you make.
Task notes
- While the Norwegian word ‘snurrebass’ refers to a spinning top, it is also a euphemism for ‘penis’. In the attempt descriptions linked below, the Norwegian word has been used when referring to Olli’s set-ups/any penis jokes, to distinguish them from any straightforward references to actual spinning tops.
- One of the basement windows seen in Christian’s attempt is covered with cardboard, indicating that his attempt at this task was shot after Stian threw a decorative pot through it, during his attempt at the ‘Break a rule’ task, and before it could be repaired.
