Victor updates a wok

As the task brief bursts into flames, Victor yells at Mark that he doesn’t remember anything that was written on it.

He goes over to the garden arch, picks up the digeridoo, and says the only thing he remembers is that he needs to charm it. He accomplishes this by asking it, in English, “How are you didgeridoo’en?”.

Victor also remembers that he needs to massage the elf. He also remembers that something needs to be hit, but he believes it to be the pint of draught beer (rather than the head), so he hits it with the elf.

Victor peers at the burnt task brief, and is able to make out the letters ‘OPD’, which lead him to incorrectly assume that the full word is ‘opdater’ (update), and that he must therefore update something. He picks up the wok, and whispers to it that a war is currently happening in the Ukraine.

Victor also starts updating other items on the garden arch, but quickly realises that he is not really up-to-date on the current news, so asks Mark to give him some sports scores that he can pass on to the items.

Victor then returns to the burnt task brief, and is able to make out the word ‘gok’ (hit). Since he can’t make out anything else, Victor decides to just hit everything remaining on the garden arch, and he eventually hits the mannequin head.

At the end of his attempt, Victor attempts to play the didgeridoo.

In the studio, Victor attempts to argue that he’s ignored the artichoke, but Lasse rejects his claim, saying that the artichoke had definitely heard the news about the war in the Ukraine, while Victor was updating the wok.

Victor solves four of the 13 tasks, and earns joint third place.
