Calle creates a shy summer dress
After announcing his intention to create a small clothing item, Calle almost immediately changes course, instead using what appears to be a bedsheet as his base fabric.
Using the sheet and a bathrobe tie, Calle – with a large leaf covering his face – models what he calls a “shy summer dress”, which he claims is meant to be worn during evenings when the weather is particularly hot.
Calle’s creation looks somewhat like a burqa, albeit with short sleeves and a pair of protective goggles worn underneath it.
Calle points out that his garment fulfils the ultimate need of disguising one’s emotions.
In the studio, Atle sarcastically compliments Calle on making the most of the time he had been given for the task, and notes that his creation looks very familiar, to which Calle responds that he was “inspired by the East”.
Atle awards Calle fourth place.
