Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in the best thing to celebrate with on stage, make the most striking water feature, bring a classic board game to life, fill a tray with things beginning with a letter of their choice, and throw some objects (but not too far).

Title context

'Quisps' was what Ed Gamble claimed that David Baddiel would have called the Quavers, if he'd used them, in the 'Fill a tray with things beginning with a letter you chose' task.

Alternate Titles

  • On Denmark's TV2 Play streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Quhips', which translates as 'Quisps'. The Danish call crisps 'chips', so 'Quhips' works better that 'Quisps'.
  • On Finland's MTV Katsomo streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Qipsejä', which translates as 'Quisps'. 'Sipsejä' is the Finnish word for 'crisps', so they have simply replaced the initial letter with a 'Q', to emulate the English title. [Translator credit: zador]
  • On Norway's Discovery+ Norge streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Qotetgull'. The Norwegian word for 'crisps' is 'potetgull', so swapping the 'p' out for a 'q' is the equivalent of a direct translation here. Note: this Norwegian translation of the title only appears in the subtitles for the episode, whereas the episode title listed on the platform is the original English title. And, sitting uncomfortably next to me, is a man who, naked, looks like a weird, ill monkey. It's... little Alex Horne!

    Taskmaster's Sign-off

So, what have we learned today? We've learned that sometimes, it's nice to just turn off your tele. Gather the family round, and have a good old game of stopping the nazi hoards from imposing their evil will on the entire world. See you next time, for more nice times. And now let's applaud tonight's winner again, it is of course, Rose Matafeo!
