Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must synchronise performances with themselves, turn on D.A.V.I.D. the robot, turn a dummy into their best friend, bounce balls on a plank, pop balloons with weapons from David’s arsenal, enter the house despite being chained up outside, and pass the parade exam.

Title context

Alfred Svensson mutters to himself that “We’ll never get to turn him on”, while his team struggles to complete the ‘Turn on D.A.V.I.D.’ task. Just as in English, the phrase ‘turn on’ can be interpreted sexually in Swedish.

Taskmaster Intro

It’s been a long week, and a generous helping of Bäst i Test is just what the doctor recommends.

Contestant Intros

And those getting a taste of their own medicine all night are...
The holistic healer: Gina Dirawi.
The imaginary invalid: Alfred Svensson.
The merciful Samaritan: Olle Sarri.
The friendly wellness-influencer: Christine Meltzer.
The West Gothian patient: Jan Rippe.

Note: West Gothland is a region in southwest Sweden, known for corny dad jokes.

Assistant Intro

You all are pretty self-managed by now, in contrast to my assistant. David, wave to the audience.

Taskmaster's Sign-off

What have we learned today? Well... have you made a mistake? Do the exact same mistake two more times. Never fire an arrow into your best friend’s face. And it’s not easy to turn robot-David on.

Notes on discrepancies

  • The scores shown on the final scoreboard are incorrect for Christine and Olle, showing them as having 2 less points for the episode than they'd actually earned.
  • This did not affect who was named as the winner of the episode, and will presumably be rectified on the overall season scoreboard.

Guests

Ellen Bergström
