Taskmaster Intro
Hello. Thank you, thank you. Welcome to Taskmaster, the great leveller. Comedians come with their plaudits and their impressive careers and achievements, and soon realise that, in this arena, they’re just people, simply humans taking on life’s challenges. Which throws up the question I get asked in the street all the time: ‘Will we, the members of the public, ever get to be on the show?’. No, not on my watch. Why? I simply don’t want you on it. Ever. Leave it! Line drawn. Let’s move on. Let’s meet the people who deserve to be here.
Assistant Intro
And next to me, a lover, a fighter, a bit of a biter. He’s got a wonky tooth and his hair’s got much whiter... it’s little Alex Horne.
