Gatwick South Terminal
London Gatwick, also known as Gatwick Airport, is the secondary international airport serving London, located in Horley, Surrey.
In 2022, Gatwick was the second-busiest airport by total passenger traffic in the UK, after Heathrow Airport, and was the 8th-busiest in Europe, by total passenger traffic.
The airport's South Terminal, opened in 1958, and subsequently expanded, has 32 gates with jetbridges and 7 remote gates.
The terminal was temporarily closed from June 2020, owing to a sharp decline in passenger traffic as a result of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It fully reopened in March 2022.
Taskmaster connection
The terminal was used as a filming location for tasks during the fourteenth series of Taskmaster UK, while it was closed down during the Covid-19 pandemic.
First appearance
The location was first seen in the 'Land loo roll in the toilet' task, in the first episode of series 14.
