Unshackle yourself and achieve a goal
- In this live studio task the contestants are chained to their seats, and have to solve a combination lock to free themselves, before achieving another simple goal (such as sprinting one metre, or eating a cupcake).
- Clues are provided by the Taskmaster's assistant to help them along the way.
Original version
Unshackle yourself and sprint one metre
In this version of the task the contestants are all shackled to a bench, and have to sprint one metre after freeing themselves to win.
Adapted versions
In this version of the task the contestants are chained to their individual seats, and the first one to free themself and eat a small cupcake on a nearby plinth is the winner, and the only one to score points.
