The task brief is received in front of the shed, where the contestants are first asked to take a seat. The brief for the task is as follows:
Tie yourself up as securely as you can.
Whoever takes the longest for David to untie wins.
You have 10 minutes.
Task notes
- This plants the thought in most contestants heads that they should tie themselves to the chair, though this is actually not required.
- A variety of ropes, string, wire, and tape are found inside the shed.
- Halfway through the task, the siren introduced during a previous task in this episode sounds, forcing the contestants to free themselves and make it into the house to put on their overalls and lie on the ground, before returning to complete this task.
