The task brief is received in the study of the Taskmaster house, where there is a power switch atop a plinth. The brief for the task is as follows:
What happens when you pull the power switch? You may not move it.

Task notes
- The switch is attached to a tangle of cables, most of which run down the stairs and into the living room, where a large number of electronic devices are set up.
- However, the downstairs set-up is a complete red herring, as the switch actually controls a small light above a portrait of Babben on the landing outside the study.
