Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Jessica gets caught up at the beginning, initially believing that a honk means yes (and that if he did not respond, the answer was no). Eventually, she sets up a honk system – once for yes and twice for no. Jessica takes 6 minutes 59 seconds to guess correctly, and comes fourth.
- Inês immediately starts by telling Nuno to honk once for yes and twice for no. At some point during questioning, Nuno introduces a third honk, which Inês immediately realises means ‘more or less’. Inês takes 5 minutes 44 seconds to guess correctly, and comes third.
- Toy immediately starts by telling Nuno to honk once for yes and twice for no. At some point during questioning, Nuno introduces a third honk, which confuses Toy. Toy takes 2 minutes 54 seconds to guess correctly, and comes second.
- Gilmário quickly establishes a honking system – once for yes and twice for no. As Nuno points out in the introduction, Gilmário gets caught up on clothing vocabulary differences between Portugal and Angola (Gilmário’s homeland). Gilmário goes on a rant about how there are names for certain types of clothing in Portugal that just don’t exist in Angola, or that the names are different, and he does not know the Portuguese word for the item of clothing. The closest Gilmário gets to guessing Nuno’s outfit is figuring out that Nuno is wearing “something ridiculous”. Gilmário comes fifth, with no points.
- Inês immediately starts by telling Nuno to honk once for yes and twice for no. After asking a handful of general wardrobe questions (shirt, robe, etc), she asks if Nuno is wearing a costume, then immediately moves on to asking if it’s an animal suit. She asks if it’s a four-legged animal, then immediately guesses that it’s a cow. In the studio, Inês says that she plays a lot of games at home, and credits her time playing charades for her speed here. Inês takes to 1 minute 7 seconds to guess correctly, and wins the task.
