Attempts

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

  • Iain guessed various items of clothing, then worked out Alex was dressed as an animal before guessing animals from the jungle. He eventually worked out Alex was dressed as a bird, then a parrot, in 7 minutes and 37 seconds.
  • Joe found out it was an all-in-one costume of an animal but got confused between warm-blooded animals and mammals, in the end guessing Alex was dressed as a wallaby. As he never worked out what Alex was wearing, he received no points.
  • Lou was the only person to say 1 honk meant 'no' and 2 meant 'yes', rather than the other way round, which confused Alex. She managed to work out Alex was dressed as a bird, guessing 'Alan Partridge', and various types of pigeons. She correctly guessed Alex was dressed as a parrot in 7 minutes and 11 seconds.
  • Paul found out Alex was dressed as an animal and a bird, getting Alex to spell out the species of bird by going through the alphabet and getting Alex to respond with 'yes' or 'no'. He correctly guessed Alex was dressed as a parrot in 8 minutes and 36 seconds.
  • Sian quickly worked out Alex was dressed as an animal that would be seen in The Lion King, listing animals until she got the correct one. She found out Alex was dressed as a parrot in 5 minutes and 14 seconds.
