The brief for the task is as follows:

Make the highest sand bridge across the river.

You may not leave the lab.

Your sand bridge must support the egg, and the egg must be able to pass under the sand bridge.

There are two bonus points for the most extravagant sand bridge.

You have 15 minutes.

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

Alan initially built two piles of sand and ended up pushing them together, then using a stream of water to create a hole for the egg to float through, decorating the bridge with tress. His bridge was 11 inches tall, so he received 5 points for being the only pure sand bridge. He also received 1 bonus point for having an extravagant bridge.
Desiree immediately ate the sand before realising it was sand. After making several sand castles, she ended up putting the model house on top of several clumps of sand and put the egg on the chimney next to the cow. Her bridge was 10 inches tall so she received 3 points.
Guz put the model house in the river and covered it in sand as well as the model trees. His bridge was 9.5 inches tall, but he only received 1 point as it was not a bridge.
Morgana immediately started searching the room for helpful equipment, eventually found the raven and worked out there was a secret panel on the side of the table. She built her bridge with planks of wood in sand supports and rainbows supporting, covering it with sand and balloons. Her bridge was 21 inches tall but as it was not completely made from sand, she received 4 points. She received 1 bonus point for having an extravagant bridge.
Victoria made two clumps of sand and put the model house on top, then the cow and the egg, arguing that the locals called the bridge The Sand Bridge. Despite her bridge being 9 inches tall, she received 2 points.
