Attempts
Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- Hugh brought in 2 million Vietnamese dong, worth £72.20.
- Joe brought in £250 in pennies, weighing 89kg.
- Lolly brought in a blank cheque so she could just write in 1p more than whoever had the most and win. As a back-up, she was also sitting on £2,000 in cash.
- Mel brought in a suitcase containing £987,000 of Monopoly money and £240 in real money. She would have had to have bought 48 games of Monopoly to get that much, thus spending £815.12 on Monopoly sets.
- Noel brought in a hand-painted banknote in a currency called 'the Noel', which he created.
