Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Make a mask that tastes delicious and looks great.

Your mask must be entirely edible and entirely wearable.

You have 10 minutes to plan your mask and 20 minutes to make it.

You then must wear your mask so that Alex can taste it.

Most delicious and great-looking mask wins.

Your time starts now.

Task notes

  • In episode 67 of the Taskmaster podcast, Alex Horne admitted that this task was inspired by the fact that 'mask taster' is a spoonerism of 'task master'. As a big fan of wordplay, he acknowledged that there was always going to have to be a task that involved tasting masks at some point in the show.
