Task brief

The task brief is found on the arm-rest of a massage chair, along with a mirror, in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Recreate the picture that Alex is holding.

Your face must not move from this position.

Alex will show you the picture for five seconds, when you've finished reading the task, and then for a further three seconds every time you land a ball in a bucket.

Best recreation of the picture wins.

You have 10 minutes.

Task notes

The contestants enter the lab wearing an apron.
On one side of the massage chair is a small table, on top of which there is a snare drum full of bouncy balls.
On the other side of the chair is another small table, upon which there are six dishes containing paints, another bowl containing water, and a couple of paintbrushes.
In front of the chair, there is an easel with a blank canvas upon it.
Behind the chair, against the wall of the lab, is a bucket.
An artist's mixing palette is also provided.
The picture the contestants are trying to recreate is a collage featuring photos of the Taskmaster house, the Taskmaster himself, Patatas the cat, the giant spider from series 10, a rubber duck, and Linda the cow (wearing a traffic cone on her head).
During the task, Alex offers the contestants a back massage with a wooden roller and then a head massage with a wire 'orgasmatron' tool.
