Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Images will be added later.

  • Henrik decides to make a mini spa near the shed. He fills the bathtub with water and soap, and uses the leaf-blower to create foam. He strips down to his underwear, dons a zebra print jacket, and puts matching cowboy hats on himself and David. Henrik declares that he will jump off of David’s referee chair and into the bath, and tells David to judge how legendary the jump is. Henrik is unhappy with his first jump, so he tries again. He lands on his hands and knees during his second jump, and emerges from the water with blood covering his arms and face. In his final few seconds, Henrik lays back in the tub and instructs David to blow the bubbles around him. In the studio, Henrik reveals that he actually was injured during the jump, that the blood was real, and he lost one of his teeth. Babben awards everyone five points.
  • Anne decides that allowing viewers to see “the truth” will make her a legend. She stands David up and starts to undress him. When David says that maybe she should not fully undress him, Anne counters that the task allows her to do whatever she wants for ten minutes. David re-reads the task, focusing on the ‘it’s now or never’ line, and realises that she is correct (it also helps that Anne insists that this will also make David a legend). Anne presents her legendary reveal in the shed, which she opens to expose a fully-nude David Sundin, covering his modesty with just two inflated balloons. She attempts to get David to walk down a red carpet like this. He refuses, but does perform a little dance involving swapping the positions of his balloons, in a tribute to the famous Naked Balloon Dance by The Greatest Show On Legs. At the end of his dance, Anne grabs David’s clothes and runs away with them. Babben awards everyone five points.
  • Linnéa decides that her party tricks make her legendary. She demonstrates to David that she can squeeze her nostrils together and then keep them closed without touching them, while still being able to talk. Deciding that this isn’t good enough, Linnéa decides to show David her ultimate party trick. She starts to run across the lawn, and then jumps up into the air, where she magically disappears into a puff of smoke. The task brief she was holding flutters down to the ground, and David looks up into the trees to find a hawk perched on one of the branches. David then waves as the hawk flies away. Babben awards everyone five points.
  • Immediately after reading the task, Nikki says that perhaps this is her chance to prove that she’s actually good at something. She tells David to stay on the bench while she goes into the house to prepare her legendary thing. The majority of Nikki’s footage shows David waiting by himself on the bench. Near the end of her time, a taxi pulls up to the house, and Nikki gets into it. She waves to David, and thanks him for the experience, as the taxi drives away. In the studio, Nikki affirms that it was always the plan to do nothing – that, to her, finishing in a legendary way means “taking a bow and leaving”. Babben awards everyone five points.
  • Marko puts his arm around David, and informs him of his plan. He says that he believes he’s done well on Bäst i Test, so he wants production to edit together a montage of his most memorable moments on the show, something that will make his children proud of him. Indeed, a montage of Marko’s highlights plays, with Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) playing over it. The highlights include his bike commercial, his funeral for David, his delayed balloon release, his Millennium 2 recreation, and his success in various physical tasks. The poignant montage then shifts focus to consist of clips of Marko yelling in frustration, and asking David how much time he has left. In the studio, Marko looks genuinely touched at the footage the production team cut together for him. Babben awards everyone five points.
