Task brief

The task brief is held by a clapperboard, laid on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Create a moving scene between at least two characters.

You’re going to play all the characters.

The scene must take place on both sides of the line.

Each side has to be filmed separately.

You are otherwise responsible for the script and direction yourself.

The scene must last a maximum of 30 seconds.

Best scene wins.

Task notes

There is also a marker pen on the table.
The table, and the rest of the room, has been divided in two with yellow tape, providing a line that the editors can use to present the contestant’s dual performances in split-screen.
Although similar in nature to the ‘Reach the end of two lanes in the same amount of time’ task, in terms of attempting to remain in sync with oneself while filming two different scenes, this one is different enough to be categorised as original here.
