The task brief is laid on the table in the lab, between a pile of rice and a crate. The brief for the task is as follows:
Get this rice into the bottle in the living room.
You may only use the crate and its contents to transport and deliver the rice.
You may not touch the rice with anything other than the crate and its contents.
You may not take the bottle out of the living room.
The most grains in the bottle wins.
You have 10 minutes.

Task notes
- Inside the crate, there is a jar of honey, a roll of clear tape, a pair of chopsticks, some twine, an uninflated balloon, two mangoes, and two metal straws.
- The contestants all appear to be confused about the instruction to move the rice to the ‘living room’, suggesting that perhaps the production team had forgotten to introduce the room them by that name.
