In this version of the task, the contestants must attempt to eat above the average number of small portions of sauerkraut, with the one who eats closest to the average winning, and anyone eating below the average being disqualified.

Task brief
The task brief is laid against a couple of small bowls of sauerkraut, on a table in the kitchen of the Kongen Befaler house. The brief for the task is as follows:
Eat above the average amount of sauerkraut portions.
Closest to the average wins.
If you eat below the average, you get zero points.
'The average' means the average of you five participants.
You have 20 minutes.

Task notes
- In total, there are 30 small portions of sauerkraut arranged in a grid on the table.
- Sauerkraut is commonly eaten at Christmas in Norway.
- In the studio, Olli reveals that the contestants collectively ate 60.5 portions of sauerkraut, giving an average of 12 portions per person.
