Task brief

The task brief is laid on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Make and put on yourself a popcorn necklace with at least five pieces of popcorn, then do the opposite of the following:

You must under no circumstances not avoid not making the bell not ring.

The task is over when you have either rung the bell or not rung the bell and said ‘I did the right thing’ three times.

Fastest to not do the wrong thing wins.

If you don't do the right thing, you lose three points.

Your time started when you started reading the task.

Task notes

  • Also on the table, there is a large bell with a hammer for striking it, a bucket of popcorn, a spool of thread, a pair of scissors, and a needle stuck into a pincushion.
  • A Portuguese teacher, Professor Cristina Marques, is consulted to unravel the meaning of the task brief wording for the contestants, in the studio.
