Task notes
- The contestants are standing side-by-side on the stage, each next to a stand which is holding a blank white canvas.
- Each canvas has a triangular nose hole cut into it at the appropriate height for the contestant, meaning that some of them have more room above or below their face, within the available area of the canvas.
- After the task brief has been read, the contestants stand behind the canvases with their noses through the holes, facing the audience.
- Each contestant is provided with several marker pens in different colours.
- The feeling assigned to each contestant to incorporate into their self-portrait is printed on a notecard on the back of their canvas.
- Jaakko awards a bonus point to each contestant whose assigned feeling he is able to successfully guess.
