Task brief

The task brief is attached to a large sheet of perspex in a frame in the dome. The brief for the task is as follows:

Place all the balls in the gutter, and the gutter on the cow.

The gutter must not enter the dome.

You must not use anything floppy during your attempt.

For every ball you touch, one minute will be added to your time.

For every ball that touches the floor, 10 minutes will be added to your time.

The task is over when the full gutter of balls is balancing by itself on the cow.

Task notes

Mounted on the perspex sheet, there are two large metal letters, spelling out ‘TM’.
There are 15 blue tennis balls balanced in a pyramid on top of the ‘T’, and 17 pink tennis balls balanced on top of the ‘M’.
Outside the front door of the house, there is a length of red guttering balanced on top of the large golden pineapple.
Linda the cow is standing on the driveway, near the pineapple.
The kitchen door has been secured with a chain and padlock, making it difficult for the contestants to retrieve any tongs from within.
The key for the padlock is laid on the base of the frame holding the perspex sheet in the dome.
