The first task brief is attached to a wall in one of the rooms adjacent to the study. David leaves the second task brief on the table, part-way through the task. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Prepare and invite David on a romantic dinner date.
David will arrive in 10 minutes.
Get David to break up with you.
Whoever gets David to break up with them fastest wins.
David will indicate with the roses in the vase how close he is to breaking up.
Your time begins when David returns.
Task notes
- The task brief specifically says ‘middagsdejt’, which refers to a dinner date.
- David arrives to each date holding a vase filled with five roses.
- During the date, David excuses himself for a bathroom break, leaving a follow-up task brief behind.
- After the second task brief has been read, David removes a rose from the vase each time the contestants say his name. He will only break up with them after all five roses have been removed.
- This task is similar in nature to the 'Score a given number of points' task, since you need to identify what causes David to remove roses, and then repeat that, but it's also possible to complete the task by accident. However, it's presented differently enough to be categorised here as original.
