The task brief is laid on top of a frying pan in the kitchen. The brief for the task is as follows:
Fry this egg, sunny side up, with a whole yolk.
Before the egg can be fried, it must travel as high as possible, and come back down.
The egg must travel alone.
The highest travelled fried egg wins.
Task notes
- The frying pan is on top of a portable single-ring electric hob on the dining table.
- Next to the hob, there is a single raw egg with a label on it which reads “Jeg reiser alene” (‘I travel alone’).
- For the purposes of this task, the egg travelling alone seems to mean that neither the contestant, nor Olli, may travel with it.
- This task is similar to the ‘Get an egg as high as possible‘ task but, since it is generally more open-ended, but also has a specific restriction about how the egg may be transported, it is categorised here as original.
