The task brief is laid on the edge of the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:
Get one of these balls in the bucket.
You must be behind the line when the ball is put in the bucket.
You cannot move the bucket, the pole, or the tape.
Time only passes when you are in the lab.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- A line has been marked across the table, about 6 inches from the edge nearest the entrance, using red tape.
- About a dozen tiny red balls have been provided between this line and the edge of the table.
- At the other end of the table, there is a tiny bucket attached to the top of a thin wooden post, mounted to a square wooden base.
- The task is scored based on how quickly the contestants can complete the objective, though this clause of the brief is not seen being read in the edit.
