Task briefs

The first task brief is leant against a rubber duck on the desk in the study. The second task brief is in David’s possession. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Hide the rubber duck for a participant.

The rubber duck must be hidden in this room.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time starts now.

Find a rubber duck that a participant has hidden in this room.

The one who finds the rubber duck the fastest wins.

Task notes

In case it’s unclear, the contestants are merely required to recover the duck that they themselves have hidden. However, the wording of the task brief is intentionally ambiguous to lead them to believe that they must find a duck that one of the other contestants has hidden. If they were to think about that with a clear mind, they might realise that there’s no way the task could be filmed that way, since there would not be a duck for the first contestant filming the task to find.
