The task brief is delivered to the contestants by Olli, in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Fill this jug with toilet water.
The jug must be filled up to or above the marked line.
You cannot cross the door frame of the toilet.
The jug goes back on the silver platter once you've filled it.
Quickest filled jug of water and placed on the silver platter wins.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- The contestants arrive in the study to find a large glass jug on a silver tray on the desk.
- A black line has been marked around the neck of the jug, indicating the level to which it must be filled.
- After they sit down at the desk, the sound of a toilet flush is heard, and Olli emerges from the adjacent bathroom holding the task brief.
- The inner edges of the doorframe between the study and the bathroom have been marked with black and yellow striped caution tape.
- The phrase ‘toilet water’ can mean any water from the bathroom, but was presumably chosen in the hope that at least one contestant would use water from the actual toilet bowl.
