Answer the cheese phone

Task notes

• Also on the table, there is a tiny cheese grater, which is a clue that the contestants are looking for a small grating.
• Alex is holding a French horn behind his back.
• If the contestants choose to only use their sense of smell to find the cheese phone, Alex makes them put on a pair of blackout goggles, a pair of ear defenders, and a pair of thick gloves, and suck on a boiled sweet.
• On the side of the caravan, there is a poster featuring a photo of the Kuala Lumpur skyline (relevance unknown), with the caption ‘CHEESE IS GREAT’ (as another clue that the contestants are looking for a grating).
• On the side of the hutch, there is another poster featuring a photo of the sun rising or setting over a body of water, with the caption ‘DO YOU FIND THE HORN GRATING?’ (another clue to the fact that they should look for a grating).
• On the walls between the lab and the living room, there is a trail of tiny replicas of cheese wedges acting as arrows, which the contestants can use to lead them to the location of the cheese phone, if they spot them.
• In the phone box in the garden, there is a decoy phone on a plinth, next to a box of tissues. If the contestants answer this phone, someone sneezes on the other end, and then Alex informs them that it’s “the sneeze phone”.
• In the hutch, there’s another decoy phone in a bowl of frozen peas. If the contestants answer this phone, the woman on the other end announces that “You’ve called the public peas line”, and Alex informs them that it is “the peas phone”.
• There’s another decoy phone on the knee of Greg’s statue in the garden (‘the knees phone’). If the contestants answer this phone, the woman on the other end says “Hello, this is the knees hotline”.
• At the edge of the driveway, there’s another decoy phone attached to a post on which there is a bee hotel and a jar of honey (‘the bees phone’).
• The cheese phone is hidden inside a small compartment behind a grating at the bottom of the fake bookshelves in the living room, and has been smothered in stinky blue cheese. When the contestants answer it, the woman on the other end says “Welcome to the cheese call centre”, or “You’ve reached the cheese call centre. What would you like to discuss?”.
• While exploring the living room, Jason finds an additional task brief attached to the underside of the table, which was presumably not specifically placed there only for this task. The brief is incredibly long, and not all of it is shown being read, but it includes the following fragments of text:

  Read this out loud and in full.
  If you fail to read this out loud and in full, you will fail the current task.
  Dear Jason,
  Congratulations! You have just looked under the table and found this, a letter just for you…
  …who has no weakness…
  …if you didn’t have such…
  …who is…
  …you are, Jason…
  …and I’m gonna tell you something…
  …you are rugged, firm, and unshaven…
  …of the other contestants…
  …I think you’ve got what it takes to win Taskmaster
  For some time now, I’ve wanted to talk to Greg, to tell him how much I respect him…
  …he is mighty, but he is not indestructible…
  …but I think you’re better.
  I think you should be the Taskmaster.

• Jason also finds a hidden compartment in the fake bookcase, inside of which he finds a partially-inflated balloon. When he pops the balloon, he finds a fake moustache and a tiny task brief inside of it. The task brief reads:

  Congratulations! You have discovered the magic moustache, and must wear it until the end of the task.
