In this version of the task, the contestants’ time begins before they’ve even read the first task brief. They must also then put all of the balls back into the bin, after emptying it. Also, a bonus ball has been hidden nearby which, if found, counts as a substitute for all of the balls.

Task briefs

The initial task brief is laid on top of the balls in a large, square bin in front of the saloon. The follow-up task brief is in Markl’s possession until after the first part of the task has been completed. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Remove all of the balls from the bin.

Fastest wins.

Your time started when you passed through the gate to get to the saloon.

There was an unforeseen event.

Put all of the balls back in the bin.

Fastest wins.

There may be a bonus point for whoever replaces the final ball in the most spectacular way.

Task notes

A large, square, floorless container has been set up in front of the saloon. It has plexiglass panels in the front to reveal that it is filled with colourful plastic balls.
A single ball upon which the message ‘BÓNUS! Worth all of the balls’ has been written (by Markl) is hidden inside the axle of the decorative wagon wheel leaning against the saloon.
Each part of the task is scored separately, and the scores are then added together, meaning that the contestants can earn up to 10 points in this task.
