The brief for the task is as follows:
Throw fish into the barrel.
Most fish successfully thrown into the barrel wins.
You have 30 seconds, minus the number of fish you wish to throw.
You may throw the same fish more than once.
You must throw from the spot, and must not move the spot or barrel.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing behind a bucket containing at least 15 stuffed fabric fish.
- Leant against each bucket, there is a small chalkboard, on which the contestants must write how many fish they wish to throw.
- On the lower part of the stage in front of them, there is a single large, wooden barrel.
- The contestants must throw their fish from a circular red Taskmaster-branded marker spot position in the centre of the stage.
- While not taking their turn, the contestants take a seat on a wooden bench at the right of the stage.
