In this version of the task, each sheet of paper kept reduces the contestant’s in-game score by 5 points. There are multiple receptacles arranged in front of the stage for them to throw their planes into, each of which is worth a different amount of points.

Task briefs

The briefs for the task are as follows:

Choose the number of sheets you want for the second part of the task.

Each sheet will reduce 5 points from your total.

You have 30 seconds to decide how many sheets you want.

Make paper aeroplanes.

Your paper aeroplanes must look like paper aeroplanes.

You can’t just crumple up the paper and throw it.

You have two minutes to make the planes, and 30 seconds to throw all the planes you made into the containers.

Whoever accumulates the most points wins.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing next to a table on which there is a tray containing 25 sheets of paper.
Several bathroom-themed receptacles have been placed on the lower part of the stage, including a bathtub, a couple of hampers, a sink, and a toilet, each of which has been assigned a different point value.
