- Next to the task brief, there is a cake slice utensil.
- Hidden on various shelves and surfaces around the room, there are a number of objects which have been covered with fondant icing to make them resemble cakes, including a globe, a magic 8 ball, a bar of gold, and a yo-yo.
- The actual cake the contestants are looking for takes the form of an un-manned DSLR camera mounted on a tripod.
