The task brief is laid on a plinth next to the Bumper Boats attraction at the Rainbow’s End theme park. The brief for the task is as follows:
Bump Paul’s boat.
Fastest to bump Paul’s boat wins.
Your time starts when you hear the horn.
Task notes
- After the contestants read the task brief, someone dressed in Paul’s usual outfit and wearing a helmet with a visor begins to drive one of the bumper boats around, and then evades the contestants when they try to bump him with their own boat.
- However, Paul is actually sat in a separate bumper boat in a corner of the pool, heavily camouflaged with clothing, make-up, and greenery.
- Paul communicates with the contestants via radio, but does not move his boat or reveal his position unless they spot him.
