Attempts

Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!

  • Charlotte create a tropical storm by: getting Alex to hold a colander under a hose over the island to recreate rain; crackling a water bottle to make thunder; turning the light on and off and waving a torch to create lightning; and using her breath to recreate wind strong enough to knock the model of Alex over. She received 5 points.
  • Jamali tried to create lightning by shining a torch on the model and using a blow torch to set the model on fire. He then used a leaf blower and a bottle of water to create rain before pouring buckets filled with stones onto the island as 'hail'. He received 2 points.
  • Lee filled the room with fog, at one point claiming it was smog before realising that wasn't weather. He received 1 point.
  • Mike created a storm by: flashing a torch to create lightning; using a leaf blower and water to create rain; and pouring ice cubes onto the island as hail. At the end, he attempted to make a rainbow using a torch and water, before going with his "back-up rainbow", which was three pieces of tape on a piece of card. He received 4 points.
  • Sarah poured salt, icing sugar and ice cubes onto the Taskmaster island's house to create a blizzard. She received 3 points.
