Sointu attempts to talk about music

Sointu immediately fulfils (and exceeds) her English language requirement as soon as the walk starts, by saying “Here we go. Let’s have fun.” However, she then continues to sprinkle English words into her conversation throughout the rest of the walk.

Keeping the cheerful conversation requirement in mind, Sointu says that life is wonderful, before adding “Yes indeed” in English. At one point, she briefly panics, saying “Oh my God” in English, before deciding that she’s used enough English words.

When Sointu asks Pilvi if she has a favourite band, Pilvi replies that she isn’t particularly fond of music (which is categorically untrue), and warns Sointu that they have officially shifted into “not-so-pleasant conversation”. Sointu claims in response that not enjoying music is actually “a disease” with an official name, but as it’s not a pleasant conversation, they will not discuss it further [note: although it’s not commented on, it’s somewhat amusing that Sointu had pursued the topic of music in her conversation, as her name means ‘chord’, as in a musical chord].

After for some reason saying “please” in French, Sointu abruptly ends their walk by saying “That’s it”.

In the studio, it’s revealed that Sointu and Pilvi had walked 613 steps, which was nearly double the requirement. Jaakko awards Sointu a single point.
