Eero finds a different pitcher

Eero leaves the lab in search of a funnel, presumably to hold between his lips so he can pour the liquid directly into it, while technically keeping his mouth open.

He searches the kitchen for a funnel, coming up empty-handed. Eventually, he instead spots a watering can, and decides that it will work well enough. After washing it out, he returns to the lab and pours the pitcher’s contents into it.

Eero points out that once his lips touch the watering can, they won’t be touching the pitcher, even though they technically are (this makes more sense in Finnish: ‘kannu’ means pitcher, but is also shorthand for watering can, or ‘kastelukannu’).

Eero takes one swig from the watering can, but is quickly overwhelmed, and abandons his idea, pouring the watering can’s contents back into the pitcher.

Frustrated by the “impossible” task, Eero starts pouring small amounts of the liquid in the pitcher into his mouth, initially bending his body into awkward positions to do so without spilling anything, before eventually seeming to get the hang of things.

After some time, Eero manages to empty the pitcher, but is left with a rather large wet spot down the front of his shirt.

Eero completes the task in 8 minutes and 39 seconds, and is initially awarded fourth place. However, after Pirjo’s successful objection to Jaakko’s rankings, he is bumped up to third place.
