Siri channels an Olympics ceremony

Siri searches the garage, and finds a tiki torch. After tying a long length of string to it, she throws the torch over the belay device above the candlestick. Excited that her throw was successful on the first try, Siri then lights the tiki torch.

Using the other end of the string, Siri then carefully pulls the torch upwards towards the candles. However, the torch’s flame is not strong enough to light the candles, so she instead searches the garage for more tools for a Plan B.

Siri uses a hockey stick to pull the tiki torch back down, and then duct-tapes the two items together, to give her a long-handled tiki torch. This enables her to reach the candles easily while they are at chest-height in front of her, so she calmly (but slowly) lights all four candles with the torch while singing Sissel Kyrkjebø’s Innerst i sjelen (‘Fire in Your Heart’; the official song of the 1994 Winter Olympics, which were held in Norway).

Siri lights the candles in 20 minutes and 16 seconds, and earns fourth place.
