Calle dominates the task

While most of the contestants attempt to complete the task as instructed, walking back and forth between the tables to collect corn cobs, Calle grabs one corn cob from one of the tables, before approaching the front row of the audience and enlisting two teenage assistants there.

Calle instructs his assistants to grab the corn cobs from the tables for him, while he remains stationary on the stage, yelling at them to work faster. Calle then also has the teenagers hold several corn cobs on top of each other, on his tray, giving him a very tall – but not actually free-standing – tower.

Kristoffer, meanwhile, has opted to support his own tower on his chest, leaning backwards and using gravity to help keep it standing.

It appears that Siri also adopts Kristoffer’s construction method, later in the task.

Calle is the one who ends the task, once he’s confident in his assisted tower, screaming “DONE!” while looking around for Olli, not realising that he’s standing directly behind him.

When everyone has returned to their seats for scoring, Olli admits that he had not considered that someone would enlist assistants during the task. Atle is not particularly bothered by Calle’s solution, so it is considered valid.

Official tower heights are not given but, from what can briefly be seen in the background at the end of the task: Leo’s tower either fell or he never actually bothered to build one (earning him last place); Solveig built a corn cob pyramid (earning her fourth place); Siri earned third place, with her chest-supported tower; Kristoffer earned second place with his chest-supported tower; and Calle earned first place, thanks to his two assistants holding it up.
